JEWETT — Services for Bengie F. Boyd, 59, of Donie are set for 2 p.m. Monday at
Ricks Funeral Home Chapel in Jewett.

The Rev. James Engle, a Baptist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in
Sardis Cemetery.

Mr. Boyd died Saturday in Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Grosbeck.

He was born in Leon County and lived in Donie five years. He formerly lived in
Lake Limestone and was an equipment operator for the coal mine in Limestone
County. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia Boyd of Donie; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Randy and Angela Boyd of LaGrange and David and Trina Boyd of
Jewett; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, J.D. Boyd of Buffalo, Bill and
Lucille Boyd of Tawokani, Texas and Gary and Becky Boyd of Palestine; a sister,
Gladys Sales of Centerville; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
