Mrs. Naomi (Lee) Scott
  Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Lee Scott, 82, were held on Monday, May 19, 
2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Alan Van Hooser 
officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery.
  Visitation was held on Sunday with the family present from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 
p.m. at the funeral home.
  Mrs. Scott passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at her residence in Teague. 
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but lived in Teague, Texas all of her adult life. 
Mrs. Scott was a dedicated mother and homemaker until her husband passed away in 
1982 when she went to work at Tastee Burger in Teague. She later worked as a 
ward attendant for the Mexia State School for ten years before retiring and was 
an avid dog lover in the true sense of the phrase. Mrs. Scott was a member of 
the First United Methodist Church in Teague.
  She is survived by two sons, Wayne Scott and wife Andrea of Huntsville and 
Craig Scott and wife Debbie of Florence, Arizona; one daughter, Sharon Bunch of 
Tyler; ten grandchildren, Mika Spears and husband Neal of Smithville, Angela 
Stacks and husband Jared of Manvel, Sarah Scott of Teague, Misty McClendon of 
Jacksonville, Melanie May and husband Steve of Dallas, Matt Carlile and wife 
Vicky of Madison, Alabama, Meredith Carlile and Ronnie Dominguez of Lindale, 
Casey Carlile of Tyler, Heath Scott of Huntsville and Trent Scott of Huntsville; 
fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Shirley 
Graham of Donie; other relatives and friends including her special friends and 
caretakers, Suzy Epps, Edna Nichols, Donna Hargrove, and Michelle Bowers.
  Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Heston Thomas Scott, and one 
son, Tommy Scott.
  Bowers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
