Ruth Harris Stewart
March 5, 1925 — May 3, 2002

BRENHAM — Services for Ruth Harris Stewart, 77, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. 

The Rev. D.H. Strickland will officiate. Burial will be in the Prairie Lea
Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday with the family present at the
funeral home.

Mrs. Stewart died Friday at Trinity Medical Center Hospital in Brenham.

She was born in Streetman. She was an advertising specialist and dorm mother at
Blinn College in Brenham.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Martha Stewart
of Cypress and Scott and Debra Stewart of Brenham; a daughter and son-in-law,
Karen and Don Hariston of Gainesville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
