James and his 2 sons are buried 3 people wide in the same grave at the cemetery in what is now known as Tool Tx. These 3 men were at the center of the Trans-Cedar Tragedy where they were all 3 lynched by a mob of men over a land dispute. Born October 3rd 1847 and died on May 23rd 1899.
