One side of a 3 sidBorn October 3rd 1847 and died on May 23rd 1899ed tombstone
showing James K. Humphries birth and death dates. Born October 3rd 1847 and died
on May 23rd 1899

Additional Comments:
This is one side of a 3 sided marker. James and his 2 sons are buried 3 people
wide in the same grave at the cemetery in what is now known as Tool Tx. These 3
men were at the center of the Trans-Cedar Tragedy where they were all 3 lynched
by a mob of men over a land dispute. Born October 3rd 1847 and died on May 23rd
1899. This photo is one of the sides of the 3 sided tombstone. I'm proud to say
this is my great great grandfather.
