Thompson, 81, were held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 18, 1967, in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel in Greenville with Rev. James L. Sandlin officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Thompson, of 2310 Henry, Greenville, died at 5:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 1967, in a Terrell hospital following an illness of two months. She was born December 31, 1885, in Alabama. She was the daughter of H. L. Mickler and Fannie Persley (sic) Mickler. She was married in Celeste in 1904 to W. E. Thompson, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Greenville. Survivors include two sons, Cecil F. Thompson, Longview, and James E. Thompson, Greenville; two daughters, Miss Fannie Thompson, Greenville, and Mrs. Nell Myatt (sic), Shreveport, Louisiana; three brothers, Grady Mickler, Greenville, Jake Mickler, Houston, and Houston Mickler, Houston; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
