Funeral services for Fidela Reyes Herrera, 70, of Burkburnett and formerly of Edna, 
were held Oct. 25, 2001 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Edna with the Rev. Michael 
O’Shaughnessy officiating. Interment followed at the Edna Latin Cemetery under 
the direction of Slavik Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Herrera died Oct. 22. Born April 24, 1931 in Turnersville to the late Fidel and 
Maria Limon Reyes, she was a homemaker, member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the D.A.V. 

Survivors include: husband, Ray Herrera, Burkburnette; son, Tony Herrera, 
Burkburnett; daughter, Mary R. Moore, Dumas, Arkansas; brothers, Rosendor 
Reyes, Dallas and Jeronemo Reyes, Stanford; sisters, Julia Reyes Ortiz, Delvalle; 
Rosa Reyes, Corpus Christi; and three grandchildren. 
Pallbearers include: James (Herrera) Wright, Ray Herrera, Jr., Jimmy V. Herrera, 
Victor Cruz, Abel Cruz and Luis Garcia.
