Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with Frank Frisbie, elder at Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home Inc., 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Caldwell was born in Paris, Texas. He was a resident of Amarillo for most of his life. He graduated from Tascosa High School and attended Amarillo College and West Texas State University. At the time of his death, he was living in Sherman. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in McKinney. He was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church in Sherman. Mr. Caldwell married Terrie Gibson in 1994. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Christy Stockton and Kaylee Caldwell, both of Amarillo; a son, Todd Caldwell of Amarillo; two sisters, Sylvia Frisbie of Amarillo and Laquetta Dinsmore of Euless; and two grandchildren. Arrangements are by BlackburnShaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Green was born in Benton, Ill., and moved to Amarillo in 1972. She was a homemaker. She married Bob L. Green in 1953 at Benton. He died in 1996. Survivors include two sons, Steve Green and Scott Green, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Gail Hefley of Amarillo; her parents, Cloyd and Neva Duty of Benton; a brother, Gordon Duty of Amarillo; and six grandchildren. Oklahoma Georgianna Dixon GUYMON, Okla. - Georgianna Dixon, 68, of Houston, Texas, a former Guymon resident, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Henson-Novak Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Mike Chaffin, pastor of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Dixon was born in Hutchinson, Kan. Her family lived in Oklahoma City for many years before moving to Guymon in 1946. She graduated from Guymon High School in 1947. She married Richard C. Dixon in 1950 at Guymon. They made their home in Liberal, Kan., for many years. They had lived in Houston for the past 27 years. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Chapter FA of the PEO in Liberal. She also was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Richard Phillip Dixon, Daniel Kent Dixon and James Douglas Dixon, all of Houston; two sisters, Jane Lee Hensley of Fort Collins, Colo., Eleanore Faris of Guymon; her stepmother, Mildred Sweet of Aurora, Colo.; and six grandchildren. Rapp, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Cook officiating. Burial was in Hooker Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Rapp was born in Garden City, Mo. In 1907, her family moved to the Oklahoma Panhandle, where they homesteaded northwest of Hooker. She attended Prairie Rose School. She married Louis Rapp in 1927 at her family's homestead. They moved to Lowry City, Mo., where they farmed. Two years later, they moved to Hooker, where they farmed northwest of town until 1943, when they bought their farm south of Hooker. Mr. Rapp died in 1961. Mrs. Rapp continued to live on the farm until 1995, when she moved to Good Samaritan Home in Liberal, Kan. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Hooker. She taught Sunday school and was a member of the Builder Class. Mrs. Rapp also was preceded in death by two sons, Sheldon and infant Emil Ray. Survivors include two sons, Loren Rapp and Jim Rapp, both of Hooker; three daughters, Roberta Cantrell of Amarillo, Ruth E. Boyles of Hooker and Beth Southern of Westchester, Pa.; a brother, Sammie Matter of Hooker; a sister, Ivy Hilty of Madras, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He had lived in the Balko area since 1911, moving from Bee County. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Perryton Mennonite Church. He married Effie Kauffman in 1929 at Lonetree. He worked as a truck driver for Whitfield Tank Lines in Amarillo and as a carpenter for Campus Properties Inc. in Vincennes. He was a member of Bolton Street Baptist Church in Amarillo, the Teamsters Union and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served with the Air Force in a military police canine unit during the Korean War. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Hale of Amarillo and Sheila Fisher of Fritch, Texas; two sons, Harold Fisher and Michael Fisher, both of Amarillo; five sisters, Betty Guerrettaz, June Ray, Ruth Hendricks and Norma Grove, all of Vincennes, and Margaret Cardinal of Bruceville; and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was born in Childress and attended Childress schools. She married Richard W. Jackson in 1946 at Childress. She was a homemaker and a member of Lakeridge Baptist Church. She lived in Amarillo from 1946 to 1972. She moved from Albuquerque, N.M., to Lubbock in 1987. Mrs. Taylor was born in Collingsworth County and graduated from Samnorwood High School. She moved to Pampa in 1964 from Wheeler. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Baptist Church. She married Eugene Taylor in 1951 at Collingsworth County. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Taylor, in September. Hubert Sauls PAMPA - Hubert Sauls, 66, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998. He was a retired electrician for many construction companies in the Pampa area. He also worked part time at the M.K. Brown Auditorium for the city of Pampa. Mr. Sauls was Methodist. He married Betty Mills Hanson in 1974 at Big Spring. Mrs. Lacewell was born and raised in Plainview. She graduated from Plainview High School and attended Wayland Baptist University for two years. She married Dale Lacewell in 1939 at Plainview. Mrs. Lacewell was a past president of the Lockney Garden Club. She taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church of Lockney. She returned to Plainview in 1964. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plainview, where she taught Sunday school and was a past director of Girls in Action. Paul Arnold Washington SPRINGLAKE - Paul Arnold "Stump" Washington, 70, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church of Springlake with the Rev. Scott Riling, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pecan Grove, and the Rev. Tim Pruit, pastor of First Baptist Church of Springlake, officiating. Burial will be in Springlake Cemetery by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth. Mr. Washington was born in Flomot. He had lived in the Springlake area since 1945, moving from the Fairview community of Bailey County. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Washington farmed in the Springlake community for about 50 years. He married Mary E. Hageman in 1973 at Austin. Mr. Washington was active in community and civic affairs. He had served as mayor of Springlake and served the Springlake-Earth school board as a member and president. He had been a board member of several local farm organizations. He was a member and served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Springlake. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Randy Washington of Georgetown, A. Mrs. Hatch was born in Dodson and graduated from Dodson High School in 1941. She worked at First State Bank in Dodson and in the ration office during World War II. She also worked for the county superintendent in Wellington. She married Bill Hatch in 1947 at Wellington. They owned and operated Hatch's Dry Goods in Wellington for 45 years. Mrs. Hatch was a homemaker and a charter member and past president of the 1954 Study Club. She was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She was active in the chamber of commerce and on the administrative board of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Bryan Hatch of Pilot Point, Dan Hatch of Amarillo and Carlos Hatch of New York City; two brothers, Irvin Welch of Lubbock and Kenneth Welch of Jackson, Ga.; and four grandchildren. Graveside rites will be by Dalhart Chapter No. 1051 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home Inc. Mrs. Farrow was born in Estelline. She moved to Dalhart in 1913 from Childress. She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1927. She married Grover Farrow in 1928 at Dalhart. He died in 1981. Survivors include a son, Clinton Farrow of Dalhart; and two sisters, Bea Pool and Mae Brown, both of Amarillo. The family will be at 1609 Denver.
