There is a large gravestone for Emma F., wife of W.S. Slover, born Oct. 21,
1866, Died Mar. 19, 1897 in Bethel Cemetery. It is located by the west fence.
The inscription reads: "As a wife, devoted. As a mother, affectionate. As a
friend, ever kind and true." The picture at the top shows a feminine hand
surrounded by roses and other flowers with the index finger pointing
heavenward. The grave has a footstone and cornerstones.

Additional Comments:
A John Slover married Martha Ella(n) Russell, ca. 1882. It is very likely that
John and Emma's husband were siblings.
