My great grandfather, Calvin Ivy Kennedy, married my great grandmother, Amanda Rebecca Bynum on Jan 6 1879 in Camp County. He died about1884 in Camp County. My great grandmother Kennedy died in Pittsburgh on 22 Mar 1929. She married Jess Wright. She is buried in Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburgh under the name Wright. Jess is buried there too as are some other family members. My question to any and all of you in the area of this cemetery or any in Camp County, where is my great grandfather buried. I have not walked this cemetery as I have done so many others, but I think since she is there, then maybe he is too. Any help would be appreciate.

Wondering if anyone might know or know of someone who might know where the Old Jesse BAILEY Family Cemetery is located? I was told that it was like driving out toward Reeves Chapel but turn on the first road going west out of Pittsburg instead of the second to Reeves Chapel. They said 2 or 3 miles west and in the field. Don't know anything else. The caretakers of R.C. some time ago helped with some cattle and ran into the old cemetery. The Bailey Family Cemetery- Thanks to Peggy Sutherlin our host, Faye McMinn of Pittsburg and Mrs. Lamb of Reeves Chapel. It is located 2 1/4 miles west of Pittsburg on Co. Road 3042. This would be Jesse Bailey Family, brother to Elijah Bailey who came to Upshur-Camp County in 1857. This is also brother to Ezekiel Bailey who is related to Mrs. McMinn. Thanks again, C.M.

Seeking information about Walter Gibbs King, born 9-21-1883 in Camp Co., TX; died 8-10-1956 in Houston, Harris Co., TX. The son of Henry Gibbs King and Margaret Corrilla (Sayles)King; he married (unknown) about 1917-1918. Walter and his wife may have divorced in Missouri and she is reported to have died in California about 1927-1929. Walter and (unknown) had a daughter named EttaMae Margaret King who was born 7-31-1919. According to the 1930 Federal Census of Camp Co., TX, EttaMae and her mother were born in Missouri. After her mother died, when she was 7-8 years old, EttaMae moved to Camp Co., TX to live with her aunt and uncle, Margaret Ellen King and William Wiley Chance. Another source has suggested that Walter had lived in St. Louis until moving to Houston, TX. Any information is greatly appreciated. Billy King Pilgrim
