I am not searching for this individual. I have all the information of where he was from 1857 till his death in the early 1900's. What I need to know is where to find information on the military unit he served with during the Civil War. According to his CSA Texas Pension File #621 he was in Company E, 22nd Regiment Infantry. I have heard that it was refered to as "Hubbards". But I have yet to find what this unit did during the Civil War. Can someone direct me on where to look? I have run out of ideas. Thank you.

We spent a day in Pittsburg researching the family of Alex Bryant, who married Emily Rape in 1875. We found his father's name and, just before we left, got a death certificate. However, later we realized we had gotten the wrong notice. It was for W.M. Bryant and we need info on M.W. Bryant, Alexander's father. We are trying to find out the names of his parents and where in Mississippi they came from. Believe the notice we found was for his son. If so it lists a different mother, which becomes even more confusing. Can anyone shed any light on it? Thank you

According to notes found in my grandmother's geneology files, Campbell PARKER, son of Allen PARKER and brother of my ancestor, Aaron PARKER, left Clay Co. AL and relocated to Texas. The notes also said "Cam PARKER is Winfield RUNYAN's grandfather". I know that Winfield RUNYAN was a cousin of my grandmother's. He lived either in or near Camp Co. TX, I believe. He is in a family reunion photo taken in 1925 and was a young, married man at the time. I need info on Cam PARKER and am in hopes someone related to the RUNYANS can help. Our branch of the Parkers doesn't have much to go on to find this Campbell "Cam" PARKER, born abt 1833 in GA. He was still in Clay Co. AL in 1877 so I assume he came to TX sometime after that. She is buried in an unmarked grave in RoseHill Cemetary in Pittsburg. Leathy was born 29 May 1821 probably in GA. She married Joseph HARRISON on 3 June 1841 in Upson Co. GA. After his death in 1860, she later married Judge James TRICE on 3 Sept 1876 in Upson Co. GA. After his death, she moved to Camp Co. TX to be near some of her children who lived there. She and Joseph HARRISON had the following children: Mary HARRISON, born 1840 in Upson Co. GA; Benjamin J. Franklin HARRISON, born 1842 in Upson Co. I am trying to find any information on Francis Yeager Adams and her brother Robert Yeager Adams The mother of Frances & Robert was Ella V. YEAGER who married ADAMS. Ella died and they were raised by their aunt Esta YEAGER who married Peck HARRISON in Celeste Texas Hunt County. My grandfather, Claude Deucallion YEAGER born 1874 and lived in Fannin and Hunt Counties was the brother of Esta and Ella YEAGER. I understand Frances was an attorney who married an attorney and both were District Attorneys in Pittsburg. I know Frances came to San Antonio some years bach and talked to my father, Claude Deucallion YEAGER Jr. She was doing family geneology at that time. I would appreciate any information. Looking for information on ELIZABETH (BETSY) COPE who married JOHN MCGEE. They are listed in the household of HENRY COPE in the 1850 Upshur County Census. HENRY COPE'S land holdings were east of the Pine community in what is now Camp County. During the Civil War JOHN MCGEE was listed on the muster rolls of Co. H, 18th Texas Infantry as "absent without leave." He also apparently deserted his wife BETSY COPE MEGEE and their children.

Seeking info on HENRY TANTON, first appearing in Upshur County (Pittsburg) TX in 1860 census with Susan, Emiline, Erving (my gr grandfather) and Tennessee (probably Penelope). He is also on 1877 and 1879 Camp County tax rolls. Badly reconstructed Will Probate records are in Camp County, TX in 1882. (What was exact date of death, where buried?). Earlier, he appears in 1850 Macon Co. GA census as HENRY TAUNTON with six sons, wife Penelope, and five daughters. (Or, are some of these actually brothers and sisters?). What was Penelope's maiden name? Was Henry's father Newsom SR? Any info appreciated, past or present - would love to hear from any Tanton decendants. Also, where is "old Tanton Cemetery" located in "Cypress bottoms"?
