Where We Are
Hood County is in the northeast corner of central Texas in the north central plains and the county seat is Granbury in
the center of the county. The counties around us, starting in the northwest and continuing clockwise are
Palo Pinto,
Parker and
Tarrant in the north and
Johnson in the east.
Somervell is in the south and
Erath is to the west of us.
