Where We Are
Terry County is located on the southern High Plains of West Texas. The county seat is Brownfield, located about two
miles east of the true center of the county. The counties surrounding us, starting in the northwest and continuing
clockwise are
Cochran,
Hockley and
Lubbock counties in the north and
Lynn County in the east.
Dawson and
Gaines counties are south of us and
Yoakum County is between us and New Mexico in the west.
