Rites Held for Morris Pioneer

	Mrs. Mary A. Evans 92, Morris County pioneer, died at her home in Cason Wednesday, Funeral services
were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cason Methodist Church.
	The Rev. Elmer Mayne officiated. Miss Lee Siebert was organist, and J. C. Little directed the music.
Burial was in Blevins Cemetery.
	Mrs. Evans is survived by four daughters, Mrs. C. J. Parchman, Miss Gene Evans, Cason; Mrs. Roy Parks,
Midland; Mrs. W. S. Pendleton, Shamrock. Two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
	Pallbearers were James Wardlow, John A. Wardlow, Charles Tittle, J. W. Staggers, Billy Dunlap and
Morris Henderson.

	Services were to be held for Mrs. Mary A. Evans, Cason, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Cason Methodist
church with the Rev. Elmer Mayne, pastor, officiating.
	She died at 12:55p.m. Wednesday at her home in Cason. A life-time resident of Cason, she was born there
December 15, 1861. She married Dr. A. H. Evans in 1885.
	Mrs. Evans is survived by four daughters, Mrs. C. J. Parchman and Miss Gene Evans, both of Cason; Mrs.
W. S. Pendleton, Shamrock, and Mrs. Roy Parks, Midland; two brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
	Pallbearers selected were James and John A. Wardlow, Charles Tittle, J. W. Staggers, Billy Dunlap and
Morris Henderson.
