Knowles Cemetery
From Valley Mills, go west on Hwy 6 for about 1/2 mile. Turn left (southwest) onto FM 217 for 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Old Moshiem Rd (CR 3155) (south) for 1.8 miles. Turn right (northwest) onto County Rd 3160 for .8 mile. This cemetery is on private property and you'll need permission and a guide.
Information from George Hubert POTTER. About 600-700 yards upstream from Old Rock Church cemetery. (The Rock Church cemetery is right on the creek, literally, one corner of the fence is about two feet from the edge of the bank.) The Knowles Cemetery is a small family plot, maybe five or six marked graves, with a fancy iron fence around it.
