Joe C. Harvey Rites Set Today
(STNS)--Joe Clifton Harvey, 56, was dead on arrival Thursday at a Huntsville, Ark. hospital apparently of a heart
attack. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Iraan with burial in Restland Cemetery
directed by Sheppard Funeral home of McCamey. A longtime resident of Iraan, he was visiting a son in Fayettville, Ark.
at the time of his death. Born Feb. 16, 1915 in Rogers, he was married to Macie Garrison June 19, 1936 in Big Lake. He
was a retired oilfield roustabout and a Baptist.

O. C. Harvey
BIG LAKE--Services for O. C. (Sonny) Harvey, 62, of Big Lake were to be at 10:30 a.m. today at First Baptist Church,
with the Rev. J. B. Bitner, pastor, officiating. Graveside services were to be at 3:30 p.m. in Lawnhaven Memorial
Gardens under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home. Mr. Harvey died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's Hospital. Born
Sept 18, 1920 in Rogers, he married Velma M. Spivey Oct. 15, 1944 in San Angelo. A veteran of World War II, he was a
longtime employee of the Marathon Oil Co. in Iraan and Texon.

Velma Harvey
Velma M. Harvey, 80, of 902 N. Main, died at 8 p.m. Sunday in Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be
at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. David Womack, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.
Johnson's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Oct. 13, 1909, in Lampasas. She was a housewife and
member of Calvary Baptist Church. *The family called her "Pi". She was also a nurse.

Robert Howard
RISING STAR--Services for Robert Curtis Howard, 79, of Rising Star will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rising Star
Church of Christ under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home. Ray Green will officiate, and burial will be in Long
Branch Cemetery. Mr. Howard died at 3:40 p.m. Monday at Rising Star Nursing Center. Born November 27, 1903 in Carbon, he
married Lida Mae Harvey Dec. 19, 1927 in Rising Star. A retired oil field pumper, he served in the Texas National Guard.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
